🐾 Final Fantasy Xiv Pc And Ps4 Same Account
With the PC purchase, assuming you link it to the existing account, you will be able to sign in on *one* device at a time - PC or PS4 - but you will be able to log out of one and switch to the other at will, using the very same character. You may even get another 30 days free for buying the PC client, I don't know.

Which platform you play on really depends on what your hardware is like, as the ps5 version does have decent performance but still stutters under 60fps in certain areas and can't hold 4k much over 30fps. If you don't have access to a good pc then ps5 all the way as thatl be more than adequate.
The only thing you can do at this point is either buy another PC copy and attach it to your PSN account, or make a new PSN account and buy a new PS4 copy. Whichever one corresponds to what account your character is on. If you don't have one yet, then it's easier to just buy a new PC copy. You're welcome to try contacting Sony or SE about it
Step one, I recommend all new players attempt the completely free trial before they commit to purchasing the game. That is what it is there for. The Free Trial includes the majority of the content from the original game, called "A Realm Reborn" and the first expansion, called "Heavensward".

For PC (not Steam) :-. Buy the game from the Square Enix Store. It'll prompt you to create a Square Enix User Account. This user account is different and separate from the FFXIV MogStation User Account. Each has different passwords. That often trips people up. PC performance depends on your PC specifications.
See just how well FINAL FANTASY XIV will run on your computer. This official benchmark software uses actual maps and playable characters to assign a score to your PC and rate its performance. A character creation tool is also included, allowing you to view a playable character as they will appear in-game.
So, I have a copy of A Realm Reborn for the PC & our PS4, but I only have Heavensward for the PS4. The only differences in changes between moving your progress from PS4 to PC, and vice versa, that I've noticed is that your hotbars, macros, and anything you've customized with the UI and settings will be changed.
However, PC, Steam, and PS all have separate licenses even with the free account side of things. If you are not content to pay for the game yet (which is fine) I would chose your preferred platform to try it out on. You can have a free trial on both, but it would need to be under two completely separate accounts.
Then, once I realized that I liked playing XIV, we moved me to the PS4 so we could both play with each other at the same time. So, I have a copy of A Realm Reborn on my account for BOTH the PC and PS4. He bought the PC one at first and then I bought the PS4 copy and it's expansions later. All account regions must match. So you can only use a NA PSN account with a NA SE account. Also, your SE account will be linked to the PSN account so you have to be logged in to the correct PSN account to play. PS4 FFXIV purchases are tied directly to the PSN account they've been purchased on and cannot be shared with other PSN accounts. If you
"This service account does not have a valid FINAL FANTASY XIV license for this platform or your subscription has expired. OK, so I have had a "normal" Windows license for FFXIV for many years. I heard recently that they now allow merging of Steam and Windows accounts, so I went through this process when downloading and launching the Steam
Pugilist Lv 60. If you plan on using the Windows platform on both machines that's completely fine and in fact there isn't a way to license them both separately or anything. If playing in OSX then you'd need that license as well, but 1,2, or 100 different Windows machines will all use the same license.
